If there is a raindrop for every tear, then the world has hardly cried. The oceans would be much deeper and so much more wide. The land would be much less, it beauty would be lost; if there was a raindrop for every sorrow here.

Perhaps hope is the sunshine that has evaporated most of the tears. Hope has made the rainbow brighter and eases some of the fears.
